Awesome service, knowledge, and people. - Chris W. (recommended on Facebook)

I called last Friday morning, and they were able to get me in that morning for a full brake job. My truck had just recently started grinding. They did a great job, replacing brake pads, rotors, and rear brakes. Very friendly staff, fast turn around time, and kept me updated via phone calls on what work was needed for my truck, then when they completed the work. Reasonable prices. Would highly recommend Old Hickory Car Care to anyone needing work done to their vehicles. Will be back when something else is needed! - Benjie A. (recommended on Facebook)

Huge shoutout to Josh & Michael! They are always helpful and get us in & out as quickly as possible. Sitting in a tire shop with 3 little ones isn’t usually a pleasant experience, but they go above and beyond to make the wait time as quick as possible making the experience much more pleasurable!! Car Dashboard with 0 RPMs and the oil light on

Fleet cars, vans, and trucks see a lot of wear and tear. If your engine has already called it a day, then it’s obviously case closed - you need a new engine or a new vehicle. However, there are many times when an engine is about to go down, and you can get it taken care of before it kicks the bucket for good - saving you time and towing in the process.

Transmission

At Old Hickory Car Care Center in Jackson, TN, we know that transmissions are witchcraft to most people. More often than not, if major damage has occurred, it’s a lot more time and cost effective to just replace the entire unit and get a fresh start. Here’s what to look out for, from Old Hickory Car Care Center in Jackson, TN.

Pile of tires

There are multiple types of tires on the market for almost every car, truck, or SUV. The type of tire you want depends on a variety of factors, from climate to how you drive. Here’s a short rundown of common street tires that’ll suit your needs.

Torque converter

If you drive a lightweight car, truck, or SUV, the torque converter you have installed is probably just fine. For those of you with more heavy duty applications, like high horsepower setups or towing rigs, the stock converter may not be enough. At Old Hickory Car Care Center in Jackson, TN, we can help with that.
